To configure BSNL Broadband you need :-
here are the complete step for BSNL Broadband ADSL2+ WiFi Modem Router Configuration Settings :-
- Router (DSL,ADSL,ADSL2+) ,
- Splitter (splits voice and data)
- Cable (RJ45, RJ11)
TP_LINK is the best modem for home users because it has more features in less price (for bsnl users it is great).I personally use it since last two years without any problem with sufficient WiFi Coverage.
here are the complete step for BSNL Broadband ADSL2+ WiFi Modem Router Configuration Settings :-
- from web browser type 192.168.1.1
- enter username "admin" password "admin" and click login.(its a default username and password,you can change it later)
- wait for line status from "initializing" to "connected" (once connected,you can see current rates,max rates,SNR margin,Line Attenuation,Errors for upstream and downstream)
- now click on "Quick setup"
- enter VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) = 0 and VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier) = 32
- select PPPoE (Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet)
- enter username and password that your service provider has given you. (by default it's usually in the format of your surname's first two letter area code (without zero) your land line number_ bsnl division) example :- if your surname is Sharma ,your area code 021,your number 2295434 and division is western India i.e wcdr then your username sh212295434_wcdr and password is by default "password"
- now setup WiFi
- wireless network name (you can choose any)
- region (select India )
- channel (auto or select if you are in WiFi crowded area select channel 1,6 or 11)
- mode (11bgn mixed or 11bg mixed)
- security (select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK (Recommended)) and set your WiFi password then click next you will see your connection status (all should be showing status successfully)
- you can also configure WiFi by clicking wireless on left side of the router login page
9. now from laptop or mobile turn on WiFi,select your WiFi name and enter password.you successfully configure your ADSL2+ router modem

username password pattern you told is not working
ReplyDeleteI found the way. In your phone bill, in the "list of services", you can find service id of your broadband connection(just similar to what mentioned in step-7). Use this as user id. Password is "password".
